Faith For Healing Is Based On Knowledge

Image
At one of my Gospel Truth Seminars, I ministered to a man who had detached retinas. I was standing right in front of him, and he said I was just a blur. With the service about to start, I only had a moment to minister, so I told him to come forward at the end, and one of our prayer ministers would continue the process. He did and, after further ministry, gave a great testimony. Not only could he see me clearly, but he could see the faces of the people at the back of the auditorium. Thank You, Jesus! That’s a miracle! In the same service, a woman came forward whose eyes were clouded with cataracts. She could barely see, but after the prayer minister prayed for her, the white glaze over her eyes was gone, and she said her eyesight was great. Another man came off the oxygen tank he had been attached to for months. Deaf ears were opened; cancers were cured; and backs were healed. Hallelujah! The most exciting thing to me about these miracles is that I’m NOT the one who prayed fo...

“I AM...”

Image
In the Old Testament, God identified himself as “I AM THAT I AM”. Jesus also made  eight “I AM” statements expressing fundamental truths about himself. When we are  born again, we are changed, and our spirit is completely renewed. The scriptures tell us what happens to us at that point, and we too, can express our new identity in Christ in a series of ‘I am’ statements. I am a new creation – a completely new species of being. 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.  I am a child of God. Romans 8.16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God. I am a joint heir with Christ of God’s glory and power. Romans 8:17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. I am exactly like Jesus in my spirit. 1John 4:17 Herein is our love mad...

The Life Of The New Man

Image
And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. Ephesians 4:20-24 KJV It is important for every believer to know the kind of life they have in Jesus Christ, in order for them to be able to take full advantage of this life in them. Existence is different from life, every man you see is existing but not every man you see has life, it is God who defines or describes life. For any man to be translated from existing to having life in him or herself, he or she must be born again i.e must have received the life of Jesus Christ. Nobody becomes a new man by what he has done or not done, you become a new man when you receive the life  of Jesus Christ. Scriptures says "He who possesses the son has life...." Any man who is outside Christ is merely existing, he does not have life. The life you have in Jesus Christ is the God kind of life, a life that is after the order of God. The life you have...

The Art Of Meditation

Image
Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery. Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all. 1 Timothy 4:14-15 KJV As a believer, you must know that a major way to take possession of all that God has in store for you is meditation. Meditation for a believer is a tool of progress, when you see a progressive believer, he or she is a meditating believer. This is because in the place of meditation, you download practical wisdom to solve life problems. Instructions abound in the place of meditation, a meditating believer  will always be divinely directed. Meditation is a password to divine revelation, without meditation there are no visible proofs in the life of a believer. You cannot advance in the word of God unless you meditate. It is the word you meditate on that changes you and transforms you. It is the word you meditate on that releases the potentials ...

BE CONSISTENT...

Image
But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them ; 2 Timothy 3:14 (KJV) As believers, we constantly hear the word of God and recrive instructions in the place of prayer, meditation and even via prophetic words from our pastors. You might have been speaking, confessing and chanting the word of God and it seems like nothing is happening, today God is telling you that you need to continue because it will happen. Scripture says "And let us not be weary in well doing;for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not." You need to stay with whatsoever it is that has been spoken to you because it will happen. All you need to do for you to be great in life  is part of those things you have  heard  but continuity is what brings them to reality. Every truth of God's word will only release its  full course  if you continue. Stay with it!!! The reason why many of us hear the word of God and are ...

The Law Of The Spirit of Life.

Image
"For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death" Romans 8:2 KJV Whatever will deliver you from another must be superior to that another. The law of the Spirit of life has been given to make the law of sin and death inactive over our lives. Every man who has received the gospel has come into life, so for every man whom is born again death is not in view. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of life and he is given unto us at new birth. The law of  sin and death is the reality of a man whom is not saved and this death is the repercussion of sin. However, there is only one true life and it flows from God through Jesus Christ. As a result, those who believe in Christ have the life of the Father inside of them.  This kind life is a free gift, and it is made available to man at the expense of Christ. The life of Christ is a quality of existence you cannot separate from the Spirit. As such, in order to fully enjoy the quality of this ...

IDENTIFICATION

Image
IDENTITY IN CHRIST 2Corinthians 5:17 says,  “Therefore if any man be in  Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away;  behold, all things are become new.”  The phrase “in Christ” is a terminology that is used over 300 times in the New Testament, always referring to a vital union relationship with God. Once that takes place, you become  a  new creature. Some  translations  actually say “a new creation.” This leads to  a critical issue that I believe is imperative to  understanding your new identity in Christ: It did not take place in  the physical realm. It  isn’t talking about your physical body, saying that it completely changes, that your looks change. If a person was fat before they were saved, they’ll still be fat afterward, unless they go on a diet. It also isn’t talking about your mental or emotional  part—what most people  consider to be the real “them.” If you weren’t too smart before ...
