The Art Of Meditation
Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery. Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.
1 Timothy 4:14-15 KJV
As a believer, you must know that a major way to take possession of all that God has in store for you is meditation. Meditation for a believer is a tool of progress, when you see a progressive believer, he or she is a meditating believer. This is because in the place of meditation, you download practical wisdom to solve life problems. Instructions abound in the place of meditation, a meditating believer will always be divinely directed. Meditation is a password to divine revelation, without meditation there are no visible proofs in the life of a believer. You cannot advance in the word of God unless you meditate. It is the word you meditate on that changes you and transforms you. It is the word you meditate on that releases the potentials inside of you. During meditation the Holy Spirit makes explicit the word of God and you become one with the word of God.
In Scriptures, Joshua actively gave himself to meditation and achieved success with ease. Through meditation you trap down wisdom that produces good success. The word of God is not a statement, the word of God is a living force and you don't interact with that life until you meditate. If the word of God is food, it is through meditation you chew it in order to digest it. The essence of meditation is to make visible manifestations in your life. For you to see changes in your attitude, you meditate on God's word, for you to see changes in your finances, you meditate on God's word, for you to see changes in every aspect of your life, you meditate on God's word. In essence, meditation is a vital process of faith that imprints the word of God on our hearts. Do you seek a change today, meditate on God's word. Hallelujah!!!
