NOT JUST FORGIVEN, BUT MADE RIGHTEOUS TOO

Image
For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. 2 Corinthians 5:21 At the cross, Jesus did not just take away your sins, but He also gave you His righteousness! A divine exchange took place—your sins for His righteousness. This means that, today, you are as righteous as Christ Himself, not because of your good works, but because of His finished work! So place your hand over your heart right now and boldly declare: I, (state your name), AM the righteousness of God in Christ! Come on, say it out loud at least three times and believe it in your heart. Learn to speak this powerful truth to and over yourself every day. If the enemy tells you, “You’re a bad Christian and that’s why you’re sick,” just declare, “I AM RIGHTEOUS IN CHRIST! By His stripes I am healed!” Beloved, when you meditate on and honor the work of the Son that has made you righteous, you’ll see His healing for every weakness, distress and pain! You’ll see Him ush...

PRAYING EFFECTIVELY

Image
God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. 2 Corinthians 5:19 We are NOW reconciled to God through Jesus. That means we are in harmony and are friendly with God right now. He isn’t mad; He’s not even in a bad mood. The war between God and man is over. That’s what the angels proclaimed at the birth of Jesus. Luke 2:14 says— Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. These angels weren’t saying that peace would reign on earth and that wars between people would cease. That certainly hasn’t happened. They were proclaiming the end of war between God and man. Jesus paid a price that was infinitely greater than the sins of the whole human race. God’s wrath and justice have been satisfied. Jesus changed everything. God isn’t angry. His mercy extends to all people. He loves the world— not just the church— but the whole world. He paid for all sin. The Scripture ...

TRUST COMPLETELY IN JESUS

Image
Teach those who are rich in this world not to be proud and not to trust in their money, which is so unreliable. Their trust should be in God, who richly gives us all we need for our enjoyment. 1 Timothy 6:17, NLT The Bible tells us clearly not to put our trust in money. Our eyes should never be on money and money should never be our goal. It is unwise to put your trust in uncertain riches. Rather, turn your eyes upon and put your trust completely in the person of Jesus. Don’t make the mistake of pursuing the provision and missing the Provider. The Word declares that it is the Lord who gives and provides us all that we need for our enjoyment. Beloved, when you have Jesus, you have everything. You have peace, righteousness, forgiveness, wisdom, health, power, provision, favor and every blessing. Now, this is true prosperity and good success. So anchor yourself on Him and not on material things, and enjoy the security and unshakable peace that is found only in Jesus!

DIARY OF A YOUNG MINISTER

Image
DIARY OF A YOUNG MINISTER  BROTHER ONESIMUS INTRODUCTION: This is one of Apostle Paul’s eternal classics that is applicable today. This is the Holy Spirit instructing us today through this unique experience brought to the fore by Apostle Paul. 1.The matter was so severe that Apostle Paul had to involve Timothy and copied Apphia and Archippus. Also, Epaphras, John Mark, Aristarchus, Demas, and Dr Luke were mentioned in this letter of Paul.very brief, one chapter but loaded!  It was a letter written to Philemon among many witnesses. So what are the issues? * an erring 'young minister' a former slave being mentored by Paul by the name Onesimus. * a Christian gentleman and former boss by the name Philemon mistreated by Onesimus who ran away with his goods.. 2.What provoked this write up is majorly how In the last one month, I have counselled with loads of young ministers like Onesimus who literarily fit into the spirit and letter of Paul’s letter to Philemon. ...

Prophetess Deborah and Lapidoth

Image
Prophetess Deborah and Lapidoth Judg.4.4 - And Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lapidoth, she judged Israel at that time. You are woman with a high calling from the Lord, your heart is burning with passion, there are dealings along the area of God's purpose , but there is an issue. I have seen God moving mightily upon some women but there is a concern about who will marry them. Beloved sister, first you must know that you dont need to be married to be the best of God for your life or in your calling.  Marriage may give you a status but not a calling. That is why you must be careful. My heart is with you and I can feel your pains. Yes, the pressure of the society will always be there but you must be resolute about your choice of picking your calling or a status. Now this is not to knock up the idea of marriage but to tell you not to “loose” that calling for a status. I want you to know that you can be strong in your calling and still be happily be married, you don...

Marriage, Married and Service

Image
Marriage, Married and Service   In my little years of service as a minister who has been called to plant a church and head a ministry, I have discovered a trend which is particularly becoming a pattern among couples. I have seen couples who when single were passionate about serving God and yielded to authority figure. However, the moment marriage comes into place there comes a radical change in the opposite direction. I have seen married couples who have become so difficult to be led and many times have been shielded from partaking of the grace of God on their spiritual leader. There are couples in the Bible I will like to exemplify to you. Acts.5.1 - But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession, Acts.5.2 - And kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it at the apostles' feet. Acts.5.3 - But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep...

THE DADDY WE RAN FROM

Image
THE DADDY WE RAN FROM While growing, we had a father in the neighborhood who was quite tough. He is a Medical Doctor. Whenever we see his car coming, we would dodge and find another route. Once he gives you a ride, you will begin to recite the multiplication table till you get to your destination. We thought that he was simply too tough. He would not allow us have our fun as we desired. As you can imagine, he was not one of our favourites. It took years to appreciate him. It took maturity to see what he was making out of us. The Shunamite woman said something to her rider after she laid her son on the bed of Prophet Elisha: Then she saddled an ass, and said to her servant, Drive, and go forward; slack not thy riding for me, except I bid thee. 2 Kings 4:24 KJV Then she saddled a donkey and said to her servant, “Drive and go forward; do not slow down the pace for me unless I tell you.” 2 Kings 4:24 NASB The challenge and deficiency in the life of some people today is dire...
